Leading International DJ/Remixer Unleashes Progressive House Reinterpretations of The Classic 90s Dance Track July 2, 2015: Twenty five years after "All Around the World" became Lisa Stanfieldʼs biggest hit, leading International DJ/Remixer Guy Scheiman is releasing brand new interpretations of the classic for todayʼs dance floor. Written by Stanfield along with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, the original song appeared on her Affection album, reached number three on the Billboard 100 chart, topped the dance charts for two weeks and earned Stanfield a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. For its anniversary, Scheiman presents three progressive house tracks of the song – a radio edit, a dub mix, and a vocal mix – all featuring the vocal styling of dance newcomer Michal S. “I chose Michal S for the single because like Sanfield, Michal has a soulful, sultry and sincere voice,” explains Guy Scheiman from his home in Israel. “She delivers the lyrics with a smoldering innocence far beyond her young years, as if she already knows exactly who she is.” Scheiman lays down a lush cushion for Michal in his production, inventing new high energy beats that help to shape the classic R&B track into something more trendy and suitable for modern dance floors; making it a sure-fire arm raiser.
